Taos Noir A Decade of Hopper
descrizione
The Taos sunglasses by Jacques Marie Mage are rectangular, 1960s-inspired limited-edition spectacles created to celebrate “A Decade of Hopper,” marking the tenth anniversary of the brand’s creative engagement with the legacy of Dennis Hopper. Originally released in Summer 2016 as part of the inaugural collection produced in partnership with Marin Hopper and Hopper Goods, this handcrafted design is inspired by the actual glasses worn by Hopper in Easy Rider. Named after the eccentric high-desert town in New Mexico that served as the late actor and artist’s creative playground, the Taos features signature arrowhead front pins, 7-barrel hinges, custom Hopper wirecores with a hairline-engraved Southwestern motif, and refined precious metal details, reflecting a distinctive balance of countercultural spirit, craftsmanship, and collectible sophistication.
